What it measures

Do you record what I type?
No. The page shows which physical key changed state and then forgets it. Nothing is sent to a server.
A key seems dead.
The highlight follows event.code, so the picture matches the key you pressed even when the layout types a different character. If it never lights, the switch or the connection is not reporting.
